League of Legends

League of Legends Wave Management and Roams

League of Legends lanes are won on the third wave more often than on the first all-in. Players who crash, then move, get more dragons than players who sit in a slow push forever.

Crash, then look at the map

A crash that bounces is a roam window. If you cannot crash, you do not have a roam — you have a missing laner.

Ping the bounce. Junglers who see a crashing wave gank more often than junglers who guess.

Freezes are a tax

Hold a freeze only if you can punish a recall or set a gank. Endless freezes while dragon is up donate the map.

If the enemy laner is missing, ping before you farm the next melee. Plates are not worth a collapse.

Roam with a plan B

If mid does not move with you, leave a ward and go back to the wave. A failed roam is two lost cannons.

Track both junglers on the last three camps. Blind river walks in League of Legends are still free deaths in 2026.
