Palworld Raid Defense and Base Layout
Palworld raids punish bases that look pretty and fight nobody. A wall with no combat pals is a snack bar for the incoming wave.
Walls and height
Raise the wall before you raise the decorative lanterns. Pathing AI still hates simple boxes.
Put the palbox where you can reach it under fire. A buried palbox is a wipe.
Assign roles on purpose
Farmers farm. Fighters sit near the gate. Mixing them means berries during a raid and fighters on the ore node.
Repair pals after, not during, unless the wall is actually breaking.
Raid night checklist
Food, beds, and a spare weapon in a chest by the gate. Logging in to a burning base with no club is avoidable.
